In order to proceed with your order, you must read and agree to the terms and conditions set out below.

  1. You must be 18 or over to hire a craft or book a guided trip. All under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult.
  2. Children of all ages are welcome as long as they fit snugly into a buoyancy aid. ABC Watersports can offer several sizes or you are welcome to bring your own. If you have any queries regarding sizing, please get in touch.
  3. The customer confirms that all participants can competently swim a minimum of 25 metres unaided and that they will wear the supplied Personal Flotation Device at all times.
  4. The customer confirms that all participants do not suffer from any medical condition, and are not taking any medication/drugs, which could affect their ability to partake in the paddling activity.
  5. The customer acknowledges and agrees that the equipment is in good condition in all aspects, and undertakes not to misuse it and to return it with all accessories in a similar condition as when received.
  6. The customer agrees to return the equipment provided within the time slot booked. Should equipment be returned later than agreed, an additional charge of £25 per craft will be incurred. Please contact us if you do not think you will make it back in time.
  7. The customer agrees to only use the equipment provided in the manner described by ABC Watersports and to return all equipment to the location from which they came.
  8. If any equipment is lost or unreturned to ABC Watersports at the end of the agreed period, the customer agrees to pay for the replacement of the items concerned.
  9. The customer will immediately notify ABC Watersports in the event of any loss of the equipment.
  10. The customer shall reimburse ABC Watersports in respect of all cost, claims, expenses and demands which it may suffer or incur, and which arise directly or indirectly out of the use of the equipment during the period of hire or activity.
  11. In the event of any equipment damage caused by the customer or persons within their group, whether by negligence, deliberate or accidental actions, the customer agrees to pay for any repairs or the full price for replacing the item(s) of equipment if damaged beyond repair.
  12. ABC Watersports Ltd reserves the right to refuse or immediately terminate equipment hire or organised activities. The disclosure of the reason for this action will be entirely at ABC Watersports discretion.
  13. The customer understands that ABC Watersports Ltd or its employees do not accept responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by persons and/or their property arising out of, or during the course of any activities provided by ABC Watersports including equipment hire. ABC Watersports Ltd also will not accept any liability for damage or injury suffered to any person or persons and/or property by your actions, be these said actions accidental or of a deliberate nature.
  14. INSURANCE – ABC Watersports Ltd confirms that it is covered by public and employers liability insurance; however we offer no insurance cover regarding personal accidents to individuals that may occur during the term of this hire agreement. In your own interest watersports activities involve an element of risk; you are strongly advised to take out insurance cover against accident, emergency rescue, and personal injury, loss of personal property, equipment damage and cancellation.
  15. PHOTOGRAPHY – We may take photos of you and your group for advertising purposes. By signing this you give us full permission to use said photos. If you do not want us to use your photos, please notify us by email to info@abcwatersports.co.uk 
  16. Shortly after your activity, we will contact you via email prompting a review of your experience. We would greatly appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments.
