Want to find out if paddleboarding is for you before investing in a board and kit? We totally support the ‘try before you buy’ approach.
In our Intro to Paddleboarding sessions, we’ll show you the best paddle boards for beginners and run through the pros and cons of each board size. We’ll also take you through what kit you need and how to use it whilst answering any questions you may have.
Once on the water, we’ll give you the foundation skills needed to manoeuvre the board effectively and with ease. These skills include forward paddling, stopping, turning and bracing. When you feel comfortable on the board, we’ll help you to your feet. This is the best way to experience the water! Once you are up, we will revisit the skills learnt on your knees and apply them to your new standing position.
By the end of the session, you’ll know for sure whether paddleboarding is your new favourite hobby!
Each session is 1 ½ hours long and will be both land and water based.
